VCON 4 saw a continuing growth in attendance, as Vancouver's convention became better known. The con featured panels on fanzine editing, SF in the year 2000, and propaganda in SF, as well as screenings of NASA films, a lecture on the large-scale structure of the universe, and a talk on UBC's TRIUMF facility.
