The Canadian Pacific Railway designed a quite unique series of cars with curved sides beginning in the 30's. Even the trucks were quite different from the rest of North America. This type of car was to be seen quite often behind the Royal Hudson type of locomotive, that Accucraft have recently announced will be available in 2007.
