These coaches were constructed in 1925/26 and are the 57' Bow Ended coaches designed by Collett. The term 'bow ended' refers to the fact that the coaches had curved ends in plan.
The four types of coaches available are:
- Brake Third - diagram D 94
- Third class - diagram C 54
- Composite - diagram E 127
( These coaches were originally in 6 coach sets: Brake third + Third + Composite + Composite +Third + Brake third )
- Passenger Brake Van - diagram K 38
