LMS Railway Period 3 Non-Corridor Coaches

These coaches are from the 'period 3' style of LMS design, and were constructed during 1933-40. This style of coach was used in Suburban service, and many of them lasted into the late 1960's.

The types of coaches available are:

• 57' Third class - diagram 1906
• 57' Third Brake - diagrams 1907
• 57' Composite - diagram 1921

Technical Information (The models in the pictures are built to the scale of 10mm/ft., but they are also available in 1/32nd scale)

• Length - Prototype 57' 0" = 60' 8" overall
• Body - Laser cut aluminium
• Full Interior - Cast urethane
• Door handles - Brass
• Roof detail - White metal and styrene
• Underframe detail - Brass and cast urethane
• Couplers - End cars - hook and chain. Between coaches in sets - Kadee #1789
• Trucks - Compensated. Outer detail-cast urethane. Inner side frames-high density polyethylene
• Wheels - Bruce Rudnicki - Insulated - Blackened
• Weight - 4 lbs (approx.)
• Minimum radius - 7 feet
