Home/My Dog, Cooper

This page is a repository for pictures of Cooper, my poochie. He's now four years old and weighs about sixty pounds. Despite all kinds of problems with him when he was only weeks old, he's now turned into a great doggie. Coop has his own home page on dogster.com, but I'd like to keep larger versions of those pictures here, since dogster.com has restrictions on picture size and dimensions.

One Week Old

My neighbor took these two pictures. They're friends with the breeder, which is how I came to know about the puppies. I didn't visit the puppy myself until a week later. I neglected to bring my camera at the time, unfortunately, so these are the only pics I've got of him at this age. You can click on the pictures to see larger (1024x768) versions of them.

Four Weeks Old

These pictures were taken July 15, 2004, one day before he turned precisely four weeks old. It took quite some time to get these pictures because he wouldn't sit still and had an amazing knack for walking directly away from the camera whenever I finally got him in focus and in frame. Apparently, this was the first time he'd ever walked on grass, though even on concrete he still walked like a drunk.

Three Months Old

These pictures were taken in October, 2004. He's about 30 pounds at this point. His ability to walk has improved immensely. His ability to walk on a leash, however, is rather substandard. Lately, he has come to be known as "Croopy", "Croopshank", and sometimes "Crooby".

Wondering where his other
back leg disappeared to.

What is this "camera" and
what does it taste like?
