I've added Death Jr and the Science Fair of Doom to the list of games I've worked on. Not much else happening at the moment. Work is just starting to begin wrapping up on the project I'm currently working on.
I think I'm going to have to add a hi-def section to my DVD list...

So I'm wondering why my laser mouse is getting slowly flakier and stuttery this morning. It's been exhibiting precisely the same behavious as an old ball mouse when it gets dirty. As I'm pondering whether or not to go out and buy a new mouse I casually look at the bottom of the thing and the hole that leads to the laser is full of dog fur. It would appear that Cooper has won this round.
Speaking of little Croopy, the other day he did something he's never done before; something I never would have expected him to ever do. He slept next to me on the couch with his head on my lap as I watched TV and ate potato chips. It was amazing. This is a dog that thinks anything anyone is carrying in their hand is potentially food for him, so he leaps and jumps all over everyone trying to get at it.
It's almost the same amazement I experienced the day I went outside to water my garden and not once did Cooper place himself between the plant and myself in order to drink all the water coming out of the hose until he literally exploded in a shower of pee.
He's still a mental case but I suspect he might possibly be maturing.

After a year and a half of playing World of Warcraft, I finally got tired of it. After liquidating all my equipment and belongings, I deleted my level 60 shaman, level 60 priest, level 60 hunter, level 44 mage, and level 30 druid. I think I wound up with about 900 gold in cash and prizes, which I gave to a couple of fellow guildies I'd known online for some time. I thought I'd go nuts or something and want to start playing it again but I haven't had any urge to go back to it. The 45-minute Stratholme run was the final straw for me. Blizzard is just too evil.
Updated my games and DVD pages at long last. Might take some garden pictures today, methinks...

Good lord. Ten months since my last update. Let's see... what's all happened in that time?
My World of Warcraft shaman has been level 60 for ages. I've now also got a level 60 priest and a level 52 hunter. I think I'm starting to lose interest, frankly.
Trogdor went to sleep again back in August. Last year, she hibernated for ten months. I've no idea how long she'll be in her cave sleeping this time around. At least I'm saving lots of money on lizard food. Damn lazy lizard.
I hired Bark Busters to see if I can get Cooper under control. It seems that he's been passively training me for the last year and a half and has established himself as the alpha dog in the pack without my even realizing it. He's proven to be a tough nut to crack, even for Bark Busters. Normally, you first need to convince the dog that he is not the leader. Then, you start teaching the dog what things he does that make you angry and what makes you happy, and the dog then strives to do the things that make you happy.
In Cooper's case, however, he just doesn't care one way or the other as to what effect his behaviour has on me. Combined with his on-going efforts to maintain his position as the alpha dog, this makes him very difficult to train. Bark Busters is going to have to come back for another session.
I've also wrapped up work on a couple of projects I've been assisting. One is on the N-Gage and the other is on the Sony PSP. As well, I spent enough time doing support programming on one of the Nintendo DS projects that my name went in the programming credits. I'll likely put them all up on my games page once they hit the shelves.
I've probably bought about 40 more DVDs since I last updated, so I'm going to have to get around to adding them to the DVD pages.

I've got to start updating this site more often. I started playing World of Warcraft back in early January and that's cut into my leisure time, somewhat. My character is a level 50 Tauren Shaman, by the way. The mad rush to level the character is pretty much over, so I think I'll get some spare time back now.
