(Under Construction) Since my son and his friend Peter have left on their 8 months adventure through Central & South America, followed by a few months in Aussieland, I have taken it upon myself to update his home page with some new pictures of events that have occurred in the marina so that he will be kept informed. (Where would we be without the internet????) New Pilings have been put in, old ones taken out. All this with the aid of a huge crane on top of a floating barge. It was amazing how much more of the piling was under water than there was above it! In July, another float home was launched, this one has a basement with a port hole in it to see through the (not very clear) waters of Lake Union near Seattle, where it will be towed to at the end of August. In the meantime it is sitting next to our house where the finishing of the interior is supposed to start soon.... (Aug 21....they haven't started yet.....)
