Tips Up Fishing Adventures
Tips Up Fishing Adventures offers guided Fishing Charters, Marine Tours (sight seeing and wildlife observing). The owner-operator-guide is Tom Poulton, a resident and fisherman of the Sunshine Coast for 30 years. Tom has been in the guiding business for 20 plus years. The skipper has completed the C.P.S Boating course through the well recognized Canadian Power and Sail Squadron and also has obtained a PCOC.
The vessel provided is a Bayliner Trophy 20 foot walk around fishing machine with bibbony top that seats and fishes up to (4)) four very comfortably. The vessel also comes with a cuddy if you would like to get out of the elements. When you charter the vessel it comes fully fueled and has all the required safety equipment including a VHF radio for which Tom has the required Restricted Radio Operators Certificate (M). The vessel is stored on a trailer and can easily be transported to the current hot fishing locations. The vessel and owner are fully insured for chartering
Fishing Charters: All fishing gear and
bait for trolling, jigging, mooching is supplied. Crab and prawn
traps are on hand. Catch of the day may include: Chinook (King) &
Coho Salmon, Dungeness & Rock Crabs, Ling & Rock Cod, Red Snapper,
Prawns & Shrimp, Clams & Oysters.
Your catch will be cleaned, iced and packaged to your liking for
transport.
Customers need a valid Tidal Water Sportsfishing License with a salmon conservation sticker. Wear or bring clothing to suit weather conditions, camera, binoculars, lunch and an open mind.
