Judy Henry is a dedicated musician, a seasoned performer and an experienced and patient teacher.  She is an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto in flute performance and holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Alberta.  Significant teachers include Kathleen Rudolph and Brenda Fedoruk, and she has attended and/or participated in masterclasses with Janet See, Robert Aitken, Sir James Galway, and Peter Lloyd.  She has also studied piano and pipe organ for 14 years under Dr. Alexandra Munn and Susan Ohannesian.

Although Judy has been steeped in classical training, she has a passion for Celtic music and has fallen under the spell of the Celtic harp.  In recent years, Judy has immersed herself in Celtic harp, and has studied with Rebecca Blair and Alys Howe of Vancouver.  She has also taken masterclasses and seminars with Maire Ni Chathasaigh, Therese Honey, Kim Robertson and Grainne Hambly.

Judy maintains a busy performing schedule; some venues have included the Van Dusen Gardens, Tsawwassen Arts Centre, Hycroft, Canuck Place, Secret Garden Tea Room, Delta Hospice, the Terminal Club, the Hyatt Regency & numerous other public, corporate and private functions. During the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, Judy was pleased to perform for their Majesties the King and Queen of Sweden.

Judy maintains an active studio in Tsawwassen where she teaches flute, piano, Celtic harp and music theory, and also teaches weekly in White Rock, B.C.
