Description & History
Two traditional Amish patterns - Sunshine & Shadows and Square in a Square - have been combined into one double-bed size quilt with shades of blue, burgundy and green to complement any décor. The simplicity of the piecing is complemented by intricately hand-quilted feather and heart designs. Pieced nine years ago, but abandoned for more urgent projects, Judy decided that if it wasn't on a bed by now, she probably didn't need it! She finished the quilting and donated it for the auction.
