Bears and Pinwheels
Description & History
Bears and pinwheels take us back to security and fun. That's just what the lucky child who receives this quilt will feel wrapped in its enveloping warmth and bright fabrics. The blue fabric with the brightly dressed bears came to us from First United Church. It was teamed with a rainbow of solid pinwheels from our stashes, and machine quilted in the ditch so as not to detract from the pattern. Hand-quilted bear paws were then quilted around the border to provide "bear hugs" to the little one underneath.
