Travelling to the Origin of Middleton
The Middleton family (our parents) were raised in Airdrie by Benjamin and Esther. In 1999, we traveled to Scotland for holidays and visited Airdrie. By chance, we decided to go to the city hall and check the historical census registers where we accurately found records for the family.
Despite this, information on the previous generation is sketchy and we have not been successful in finding matching names in any census, or an indication of where Robert Middleton or Phebe Gough were born or married.
At a future time, we will include pictures of Airdrie from those days on this page.
