October 11th Update:

Look out for the Rat Race 2! Fellow cyclist and legendary competitive runner Larry Nightingale will be organizing the 2008 Rat Race 2- same course, same venue, with the date TBA.

THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE THAT CAME TO THE 2007 BRODIE RAT RACE!

We greatly want to thank the racers, volunteers and sponsors who make this race to what it has become- 6 years ago we had 80 racers, and now this past weekend we had 550! Without you, the volunteers and sponsors, a race can not succeed.

Although it has been an amazing 6 years of Rat Racing, we are stepping back and putting the Rat to sleep. If someone is willing to take on this race, then the race weekend will continue up here on the Coast and they will give the race their own special touches.
