Course:
The XCO Course was designed with three goals - 1st: no snow, 2nd: no interference with the DH pre-rides, and 3rd: unique trails (or direction) from the Marathon. So with these in mind, we have come up with an inner lap course of 6 km. You will access the lap via a logging road climb, and exit the lap with a 1.5 decent.

The Lap/Finish sign is only 3/4 the way through the lap - so in order to complete one full lap, you must head to the top of the course again. For example, if you are racing U 17 Male and are doing 2 red laps, you turn right past the lap/finish sign twice, and therefore, climb Black Tower & Surf it Up twice. And yes, that means you get to descend Pumpkin Patch 3 times!

Kids under 15 will be exiting the course at this 3/4 point mark and make their way to the finish for a total of 6.3 km.

All races will begin at the local spot known as the "Mattresses". It is 2.0 km up B&K Logging Road, so is an excellent warm up. Parents may drive their kids 1.5 km up and park along side the road.

Feedstation: there will be one manned neutral feedstation at the top of Blacktower with water and gatorade in cups. Race supporters may go there to hand off waterbottles.

Pre-Rides: as of April 2, the course still has some snow, but will be marked for the Apr 25th weekend. Click on the Map tab for a downloadable map & specific course instructions.

Prizing:
A cash purse will be up for the Pro/Elites based on the BC Cup prizing policy. All other categories will receive top 3 podium recognition plus be eligible for draw prizes.

Location:
Same spot as the Marathon Race. 1 km up B&K at the Equestrian Club. See the Location tab for more information.
