The hopper cars were built one summer when I decided I needed a mine. Again, plans are from Garden Railways magazine, construction is coffee stir sticks ( Starbucks hides theirs when they see me coming.... ) stained with india ink and rubbing alchohol. The hopper doors work, and the closing springs are from dead floppy disks.
