Rolling Stock - Stock Car #1

| Stock Car #1 was the second piece of rolling stock to come off the
assembly line. Construction of the base was identical to the flat car,
though the walls were a little trickier - I cut most of the wood to
thickness on a table saw, then assembled and painted it. I hope to build
some clay "Far Side" cows to ride around in it. If I built another one,
I think I'd stain the wood with ink and alchohol to give it that been
sitting in the desert sun too long look. |
